Local search help in Marietta
Hard to find in local search?
If customers struggle to find your business, start by checking what they can see—not by guessing which SEO service to buy. Note the searches or listings causing concern, then request help reviewing them.
Start with one check
Do your public business details agree?
Compare your website’s contact page with your Google Business Profile and other public listings customers may use. Check your business name, phone number, opening hours, website link and address or service area, as applicable.
Record anything outdated or inconsistent, including duplicate listings. If you operate from a private address, note how your service area appears rather than publishing that address just to make listings match.
Save the affected links and a dated screenshot of each issue. These notes give a provider something concrete to investigate; inconsistent information alone does not explain every visibility problem.
Give the review a clear starting point
A missing listing and a hard-to-find service page are different problems. Capture what you searched for, where you searched and which result you expected to see.
When a listing is missing or wrong
Note whether you searched for your business name or a service, and whether the issue appeared in maps or regular search results. Ask a provider to review the affected listing’s public details, categories, website link and any duplicate or access issues.
- Exact search phrase, date and approximate search location
- Listing links and screenshots of incorrect details
- Any ownership or verification messages you have seen
When a website page is hard to find
Save the exact page address and describe the service or location you expected it to appear for. Discuss whether search engines can access the page, whether its title and content explain the offering, and whether visitors can easily reach it from the rest of the website.
- Affected page addresses and the searches you tried
- Recent changes to the website, services or business location
- Whether customers can find a clear way to contact you
